Cheesy Potato Salmon Pie

This cheesy potato and salmon pie is comforting and packed with protein, making it an ideal meal for all. You can whip up this delicious dinner in just 30 minutes using ingredients that you probably already have at home and watch it become an instant favourite for all.


  • 1 can John West Red Salmon Skinless & Boneless (170g), drained
  • 1 tub ready-made cheese sauce
  • 2 tsp dried tarragon
  • 4 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 400g ready-made mashed potato
  • 15g butter
  • 40g mature Cheddar cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper

Step 1

To prepare our cheesy Potato and Salmon Pie Recipe preheat the oven to 190°C / Gas Mark 5. Pop the John West Salmon into a 1 litre pie dish and break up roughly with a fork.

Step 2

Mix the cheese sauce, tarragon and spring onions together and season with black pepper and spoon over the salmon. Top with the ready-made mashed potato (you can easily use left-over mash too), dot with the butter and sprinkle with the Cheddar cheese.

Step 3

Place in the oven for 15 minutes or until everything is bubbling and piping hot. Serve and enjoy your cheesy potato and salmon pie.
