Sild & Skippers

{alt_text}

A tasty catch, full of Omega 3.

These little beauties are at their finest in the winter, so that’s when the expert crews go out to catch them.

Caught in British coastal waters using small boats, sild and skippers are a great natural source of Omega 3. The fish are an average of 7-12cm in length and are always packed one by one, by hand in Scottish canneries. This is what gives them their appealing interwoven appearance. Our smoked skippers get their delicious taste using a combination of Douglas Fir, Oak and Beech wood.
