Spicy Peri Peri Sardine, Mozzarella & Tomato Pasta
Treat your tastebuds to a spicy pasta that packs a punch.
To prepare our Sardine Pasta Recipe cook the penne according to packet instructions, drain and return to the saucepan.
Heat the oil in a medium sized saucepan, add the basil and garlic and sizzle over a low heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until the garlic is just beginning to colour.
Add the John West Peri Peri Sardines and juice and heat through until the sardines are piping hot.
Stir in the spaghetti with the mozzarella pearls and toss until the mozzarella has begun to melt and become stringy. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- 2 120g cans John West Peri Peri Sardines
- 200g penne
- 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large aubergine
- 2 cloves of garlic, sliced
- 1 185g tub baby mozzarella pearls
