HOT TUNA MEALS YOU’LL WARM TO!

Everyone knows that John West Tuna tastes great, straight from the can, because that’s how most of us enjoy it. Whether it’s part of a salad or heaped on a baked potato, cold Tuna is a traditional favourite with thousands of us. Which is all well and good, but there are also thousands of us who are missing out on something equally good; hot John West Tuna, cooked in a variety of delicious ways.

As a cook on a busy trawler serving an ever-hungry crew, I’m constantly looking for ways to put variety on the menu, or I’ll be faced with mutiny, so the delights of hot Tuna is something I’m very familiar with. Coming up are just three easy ways to transform cans of cold tuna into piping hot, hearty and satisfying meals for your crew.

Tuna Burgers - different and downright delicious
Give the beefburger a rest and try this succulent and tasty Tuna Burger instead. I suggest you start with a can of John West No Drain Tuna Steak, which is quick and easy to use, without any fuss or mess and gives you a nice chunky burger with plenty of texture to it. Tuna Pasta Bake - the crunchy, creamy plate filler
There’s quite a bit of preparation involved in this hearty pasta favourite, but because the end result is so fantastic it’s well worth the time and effort. Plus, the recipe uses two cans of John West No Drain Tuna in brine, so at least you’ve no messing about when it comes to draining the Tuna.

Tuna Stir Fry - oriental cuisine with a fish twist
This is a great looking, great tasting dish, with plenty going on in terms of
flavours and textures. To get you off to an excellent start, flavour wise, I recommend 2 cartons of John West Infusions Tuna with Chilli & Garlic as the base of your stir-fry.
