Most people know the Herring in its smoked form (the Kipper) and it remains one of the best-loved oily fish. Rich in flavour, versatile and nutritious, the Herring is a wonderful source of Omega 3. John West Herring Fillets in sauce come in Tomato or Mustard and Dill varieties and lend themselves to many tasty dishes . We fish our Herrings in the cold, clear waters of the North Sea. John West Kipper Fillets are traditionally wood smoked prior to canning.
